Charlotte Dungan

Charlotte Dungan is a leading expert in AI education, working with teams at TeachAI, Code.org, AI for Teachers, aiEDU, ISTE, and AI4K12. After 10 years working as a computer programmer, she earned an education degree with concentrations in K-12 English and History from Antioch University. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education from Harvard University, where she conducted research with computer science educators and developed teacher support materials. She has helped several states revise CS standards and add AI to their curricula. Charlotte serves on the national working group for AI4K12.org and supports expanding CS education in rural areas and underserved populations. She’s also a lifelong Girl Scout and a first-generation college student

Michelle Meier has over 25 years of education experience in schools and the AEAs. In schools, Michelle served as a Teacher Librarian, Media Literacy teacher, and Technology Coach. Through her work in the AEA system, Michelle has served as a Digital Learning Consultant, Instructional Technology Consultant, Library Media Consultant, and Computer Science Consultant. She believes the skills and knowledge used in these areas create self-sufficient learners who are prepared to excel in their chosen future.

Ann Thomas has 15 years of experience teaching in school libraries and writing the curriculum. She is currently Co-Chair for the AEA State Selection Committee and the state-wide AEA Technology Integration Team. She is dedicated to helping students and educators find paths to learn more about digital citizenship, and informational literacies and providing approaches for authentic learning experiences. In 2019 she was given the Goldstar Award for Outstanding Teaching.
